Role Overview
As a Strategy Associate in Tenders and Proposals, you will facilitate Via’s expansion throughout the DACH region by managing the proposal and tender processes that foster new public transit partnerships. Embedded within the Strategy Team, you will ensure all documentation, tender pipelines, and submissions are meticulously organized and effectively managed, aiding the team in securing impactful opportunities for our communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate tender opportunities across Europe, analyzing relevant tenders to assist decision-making on which to pursue.
- Coordinate the internal assessment process of new tenders, collaborating cross-functionally to transform preliminary evaluations into informed decisions.
- Lead proposal kick-off meetings, align stakeholders, and monitor progress across all workstreams through to submission.
- Manage end-to-end proposal submissions by collaborating with Solutions Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams to compile required documents, translations, approvals, and signatures within strict deadlines.
- Maintain Via's administrative document library to ensure critical documents are always current and promptly accessible.
- Handle communications on tender portals during bidding, crafting and distributing responses to bidder inquiries to enhance Via’s competitive position.
- Develop and update a live overview of Via’s partnerships and project histories, providing teams with accurate, up-to-date relationship insights.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of two years’ experience, preferably in fast-paced settings.
- Demonstrable ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks concurrently with strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Effective and confident communicator who can proactively coordinate cross-functional input, including persistent follow-ups when necessary.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment by introducing clarity and structure to complex activities.
- Fluent in both German and English, with near-native or bilingual-level proficiency in German required.
