Role Overview

As the Strategic Finance Manager, you will partner with founders and leadership to establish robust financial systems, enhance controls, analyze business performance, and deliver insights crucial to scaling operations globally. This role extends well beyond traditional accounting functions and involves collaboration with teams across operations, revenue management, and property divisions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously enhance day-to-day financial controls and report accuracy with verifiable data.
• Identify and automate repetitive finance tasks working alongside engineering teams.
• Reconcile payments from platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, and others to ensure timely and accurate receipt.
• Reconcile bank accounts and transactions, swiftly resolving discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Review supplier invoices and corporate expenses.
• Ensure statutory filings and corporate compliance are completed correctly and punctually across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and banks to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with financial statements for landlords and property owners as needed.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time business performance visibility.
• Analyze financial outcomes across properties, cities, countries, and business units.
• Develop and maintain company budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Monitor cash flow and support planning for funding and capital requirements.
• Identify financial risks, discrepancies, and potential leakages.
• Analyze cost structures and identify margin improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with operational teams to understand, manage, and reduce property-level costs.
• Contribute to financial due diligence for acquisitions, investments, and market expansion.
• Report financial findings and actionable insights directly to company founders and management.
