Overview
Seeking a seasoned Strategic Advisor to deliver high-level strategic and technical counsel to executive leadership at Wasael Property Management. This role demands facilitating informed decisions on key business initiatives, projects, and organizational priorities while ensuring alignment with corporate governance and industry best practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Offer expert strategic guidance to leadership on complex organizational, project, and business challenges.
- Assist executive management in assessing major initiatives, investments, and strategic priorities.
- Analyze intricate project and business scenarios to present independent recommendations for decision support.
- Advise on project delivery methods, governance frameworks, organizational priorities, risks, and opportunities.
- Oversee major programs and projects, flagging issues requiring executive interventions.
- Examine executive reports, business cases, proposals, and strategic recommendations ahead of leadership decisions.
- Identify emerging strategic, operational, commercial, and project-related risks and advise on mitigation approaches.
- Facilitate resolution of complex, high-impact multi-stakeholder challenges.
- Provide counsel on governance structures, policies, procedures, and decision-making models.
- Participate actively in executive and steering committees, delivering strategic insights and suggestions.
- Engage with senior government officials, clients, consultants, partners, and key stakeholders as necessary.
- Offer independent scrutiny and assurance on significant proposals and management strategies.
- Conduct strategic analyses to pinpoint opportunities for enhanced performance, efficiency, and organizational growth.
- Support leadership in priority setting and monitoring strategic goals progress.
- Mentor senior leaders and project teams as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, market shifts, and emerging best practices relevant to the organization.
- Undertake special projects and executive initiatives per leadership directives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, or related fields.
- Preferably holders of a Master’s degree, MBA, or similar advanced qualifications.
- At least 15 to 20 years of pertinent experience with significant tenure in senior leadership, executive advisory, or strategic management capacities.
- Professional or industry certifications are a plus.
- Substantial leadership experience in complex organizations or large-scale projects.
- Preferred background in real estate development, construction, infrastructure, government, investment sectors.
- Proven track record advising executive leadership on intricate strategic and project matters.
- Deep knowledge of governance, risk management, commercial aspects, and organizational strategy.
- Expertise in engaging and influencing executives and key external stakeholders.
