Role Overview
We are hiring committed Storepersons to join our vibrant workforce in the resource-abundant Pilbara region of Western Australia. The position follows various rosters, typically a 2 weeks on/1 week off FIFO arrangement departing from Perth.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept and inspect all incoming goods, materials, and supplies with accuracy and proper documentation.
- Organize and store stock systematically, ensuring correct rotation in warehouse facilities.
- Maintain precise inventory records via inventory management systems.
- Collaborate with departments to meet material requirements and verify timely dispatch.
- Carry out periodic stock audits and resolve any inconsistencies found.
- Follow strict safety guidelines and keep the workspace clean, organized, and secure.
Candidate Profile
- Experience working in mining or heavy industry environments.
- Proven track record as a storesperson on site.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities.
- Physical ability to safely perform tasks like lifting, carrying, and equipment operation.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork across functions.
- Possession of a valid forklift license and driver’s license.
- Recent National Police Check within 12 months or willingness to obtain one.
- Full legal work rights to work in Australia.
