Job Summary
The Storeroom Clerk will support maintenance teams across mechanical, electrical, civil, and various other trades by preparing and moving material handling equipment. Responsibilities include assisting with the installation, upkeep, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment used in plant and office settings. This role involves site preparation activities such as drain cleaning, concrete work, constructing partitions, and erecting shuttering. The clerk may be designated to a specific trade and perform routine tasks related to that trade, such as regular lubrication of machinery and pulling electrical wiring. Use of simple tools including pipe benders, spanners, and glass cutters is expected.
