Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Storeperson to become part of our warehouse team based in Wagga Wagga. This role involves a variety of warehouse tasks such as picking and packing orders, stocktaking, and organizing storage. It presents a chance for consistent, reliable employment and offers potential growth into extended responsibilities including forklift operation.
Key Duties
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
- Receive deliveries, label goods, and place them into storage
- Handle sorting, loading, and unloading operations for vehicles
- Support inventory control and assist with stocktaking activities
- Use forklifts to facilitate receiving and dispatching processes
Candidate Profile
- Reliable and motivated with preferably some previous experience in warehousing or industrial roles
- Effective communication skills and a positive attitude suitable for the workplace
- Comfortable using technology for stock management and computer applications
- Customer-focused with the capacity to work well within a team
While holding a current Forklift Licence or high-reach experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. We are willing to assist the right applicant in obtaining this qualification.
