Role Overview

As a Storeperson, your responsibilities encompass managing stock inflow and outflow, assisting with local deliveries, and ensuring streamlined warehouse operations. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will collaborate closely with the warehouse and customer service teams to meet daily targets, thereby facilitating the company's growth and ensuring timely product delivery to clients across vital industries.

Key Duties

  • Accurately process customer orders and confirm order documentation.
  • Pick, pack, receive, inspect, and dispatch stock according to established procedures.
  • Conduct local deliveries when needed.
  • Safely carry out manual handling duties.
  • Keep the warehouse orderly, clean, and compliant with safety standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in a warehouse or related storeperson position.
  • Hold a valid driver's license (mandatory).
  • Possession of a forklift license is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Exhibit a solid commitment to safety and quality, performing all tasks in line with company health and safety policies.
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to undertake varied responsibilities to support organizational objectives.
  • Proficient with computers at an intermediate level.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Adaptable to changing job requirements and open to ongoing training and new ideas.
