Storekeeper

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Storekeeper to become part of our Operations team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The primary focus of this position is to oversee the entire process of receiving, storing, issuing, and managing inventory control for food ingredients, packaging materials, consumables, and various operational supplies. This role ensures the accuracy of stock data, maintains proper storage conditions, complies with food safety standards, guarantees product traceability, and ensures that all necessary items are available on time for production and shipment.

Core Responsibilities

• Handle the complete cycle of receiving, storage, issuance, transfer, and return of materials.
• Maintain precise record-keeping of inventory levels, stock availability, and oversee stock control processes.
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory management methods, closely monitoring expiration dates to reduce waste.
• Ensure that storage conditions meet appropriate temperature, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
• Perform regular physical stock counts and investigate discrepancies found in inventory.
• Track inventory status including shortages, wastage, and items that are damaged or expired.
• Guarantee that food ingredients, packaging, and operational supplies are readily available for production schedules and timely dispatch.
• Liaise and coordinate with departments such as Kitchen, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Operations to streamline workflows.
• Maintain accurate documentation relating to inventory and received goods.

Qualifications and Required Skills

• Possess 2 to 4 years of professional experience in warehouse management, storekeeping, food production environments, catering, restaurant operations, or central kitchens.
• Experience handling food ingredients and packaging materials is strongly preferred.
• Basic understanding of food safety standards and inventory management is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
• Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, and accountability in tasks.
