This position is with the first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt, representing a fresh opportunity within Ennismore's expanding brand portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify all incoming stock, ensuring the quantities and quality adhere to order specifications.
• Systematically arrange and store inventory to maximize efficiency and orderliness.
• Maintain up-to-date records of stock levels, regularly updating the inventory management system.
• Manage stock rotation using the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle to avoid spoilage or expiration.
• Distribute supplies accurately to different departments such as kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance based on their needs.
• Keep precise records of stock issuance to prevent inconsistencies.
• Conduct frequent physical inventory counts and promptly report discrepancies to management.
• Support reordering processes by notifying management when stock items become low.
• Accurately document all stock receipts, requisitions, and inventory transactions.
• Maintain organized files of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes for auditing and reporting.
• Inspect incoming goods for quality and ensure they are stored under appropriate conditions.
• Report any damaged, expired, or defective goods to suppliers and management immediately.
• Adhere to safety and health standards in storing stock, including hygiene compliance.
• Handle hazardous or perishable items following proper procedures.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned to enhance departmental and property-wide effectiveness.

Qualifications and Competencies

• High school diploma or equivalent; background in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Experience in inventory management or storekeeping, preferably within a hotel, restaurant, or similar sector.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with an acute attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency with inventory systems and stock control practices.
• Effective communication skills to liaise between departments.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
