Storekeeper

Position Overview

As a Storekeeper at W Hotels in Macau, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, organizing, and distributing merchandise to designated departments within the facility. The role involves proper handling, storage, and inspection of inventory to maintain quality and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and stage incoming merchandise by department, labeling items correctly for placement and distribution.
• Stack merchandise on pallets or carts for ease of movement.
• Prepare requisition forms to manage inventory and supply requests.
• Alert supervisors timely about low stock levels to facilitate replenishment.
• Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and overall quality, rejecting damaged or incorrect items.
• Follow strict food safety and handling procedures, especially for perishables.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drainage areas.
• Dispose of empty pallets, cardboard, and trash by placing them in designated storage spaces.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management and complete mandatory safety training.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with guests and coworkers.
• Foster positive teamwork and support collective objectives.
• Meet quality assurance standards consistently.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, moving through confined or uneven spaces, and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
