Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and energetic Retail Store Person to support the seamless operation of our store and warehouse. This role thrives in a fast-paced team setting and involves ensuring smooth stock flow and assisting customers with order pickups.
Core Responsibilities
- Loading weekly deliveries including trucks and containers with accuracy and care
- Assisting customers during order collection to ensure a smooth experience
- Supporting the sales team by moving stock to and from the sales floor
- Accurately recording goods receipt into the operational system
- Assembling furniture attentively and with pride
- Maintaining compliance with all occupational health and safety guidelines
- Keeping the store and warehouse well-organized, safe, and clean
- Collaborating with teammates, using initiative, solving problems, and managing a high-energy environment
Candidate Profile
- Experience in warehousing and distribution roles preferred
- Proficient with computers including email and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Enthusiastic about helping others and achieving results
- Physically fit to handle regular lifting, carrying, and maneuvering of furniture of various sizes
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Proactive, committed, and driven mindset with a positive approach
