Store Paint Specialist

Overview

NAPA Auto Parts is looking to hire a dedicated and energetic Paint Specialist to become a key member of their expanding auto parts team. This role suits individuals passionate about customer service and teamwork within a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately mixing automotive paint to specific requirements
• Assisting customers with inquiries related to auto body and finish products
• Sharing detailed knowledge about product features, benefits, and warranty information
• Collaborating and supporting team members in a fast-paced store setting
• Operating cash registers and utilizing computer and paper catalog systems for inventory and sales

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in paint or body shop is essential
• Solid automotive knowledge or experience is required
• ASE (P2) Parts Certification is advantageous
• A positive outlook with a strong commitment to customer service excellence
• Good verbal and written communication capabilities
• Willingness to learn and train on the job
• Ability to thrive and enjoy working in a busy retail environment
• Familiarity with cataloging and inventory systems is a plus
• Availability to work on weekends is mandatory
• Must possess a valid driver's license and/or dependable transportation

Compensation and Benefits

The starting wage is $21.75 per hour, with the potential for adjustments based on individual qualifications and experience.
