Store Manager - Wine and Spirits

Overview

This position is a permanent full-time role based in Redwater, Alberta, requiring proficiency in English. The candidate should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and between one to two years of experience managing store operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily store operations effectively.
• Plan and organize operational activities to ensure smooth functioning.
• Supervise store staff and allocate tasks accordingly.
• Source, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance sales performance.
• Manage budgeting processes and monitor revenues and expenses carefully.
• Conduct performance reviews to maintain team efficiency.

Working Conditions

• Work shifts include early mornings and evenings.
• Work schedule comprises shift work in morning, night, on-call, day, and weekend shifts.
• Average working hours are 35 hours weekly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required professional experience: Between 1 year and less than 2 years in related roles.
