Job Overview

The role involves overseeing daily store operations and managing inventory at construction sites to ensure smooth material flow and accurate record keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site store and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Receive incoming construction materials, inspect them for quality and quantity, and document the transactions diligently.
• Keep thorough records of stock, inward and outward materials to maintain transparency.
• Distribute materials only upon approval according to site demands to ensure efficient material usage.
• Track stock levels continuously, monitor consumption rates, and manage any material wastage effectively.
• Carry out routine physical verification of stock and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
• Liaise and coordinate with purchasing teams, vendors, and site engineers for smooth procurement and supply operations.
• Ensure that materials are stored properly with a focus on safety and good housekeeping standards.
• Prepare and submit consistent reports on stock status and material consumption for management review.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation related to all materials, tools, and equipment utilized on site.
