Store Manager – Supermarket

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations of our supermarket located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This role demands leadership in managing store activities to meet sales goals, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and supervising staff performance in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive day-to-day store functionalities.
• Meet or surpass predefined monthly sales and business objectives.
• Lead, motivate, and appropriately allocate store team members.
• Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, discipline, and job performance.
• Manage receipt of stock, generation of Goods Received Notes (GRN), inventory tracking, and stock accuracy.
• Minimize losses related to shrinkage, product damages, expirations, and stock discrepancies.
• Ensure attractive product displays, maintain product availability, and uphold store cleanliness.
• Address customer complaints promptly and maintain high customer service standards.
• Perform routine stock audits to maintain inventory precision.
• Ensure adherence to company standard operating procedures, policies, and audit mandates.
• Liaise effectively with Head Office, Human Resources, Purchase, and Accounts departments.
• Responsible for proper store opening and closing procedures.
• Provide training to staff on customer service excellence, product knowledge, and store operational protocols.

Compensation

Monthly salary between 25,000 and 30,000 INR.
