About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Store Manager to lead operations at a bustling retail outlet in Wilton, Cork. This hands-on leadership position requires a candidate who thrives on being actively involved on the shop floor, steering by example while driving store performance through superior customer service and effective team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership, motivation, and development for the store team.
- Drive sales outcomes and consistently meet KPI targets.
- Manage everyday store operations efficiently.
- Handle stock control and maintain inventory processes.
- Uphold exceptional standards of customer service.
- Maintain a visible and active presence on the shop floor, leading by example.
- Ensure excellent visual merchandising and store presentation.
- Track store performance and initiate improvement actions as necessary.
- Encourage a positive, productive team atmosphere.
Candidate Requirements
- Considerable experience in retail management.
- Proven history of leading and nurturing successful retail teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in sales management and achieving KPIs.
- Excellent leadership capabilities, communication, and coaching skills.
- Highly organised with solid operational management experience.
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style with an ability to motivate and inspire staff toward results.
- Strong dedication to customer service and enhancing the in-store experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive annual salary ranging from €37,000 to €40,000.
- Potential KPI bonus up to €5,000 per annum.
- Retention bonus scheme: €1,000 after 1 year, €2,000 after 2 years, and €3,000 after 3 years of continuous service.
