LAP Coffee aims to make specialty coffee both affordable and convenient by blending personal service with digital ease. Operating stores in Berlin, Munich, and Hamburg, and planning to expand further within Germany, LAP provides a strong community-focused coffee experience.

Role Overview

As Store Manager in Munich, you will take full responsibility for daily operations of a LAP Coffee store. Your leadership will drive team performance, ensure operational excellence, and enhance customer satisfaction while supporting business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate baristas to meet company goals and cultivate a positive work culture.
  • Maintain high standards of store operations and customer service.
  • Engage with local businesses and community members to strengthen brand presence and loyalty.
  • Manage staff scheduling and punctuality to keep the store running efficiently.
  • Implement and follow product, service, and brand training protocols consistently.
  • Oversee product quality by ensuring proper handling and freshness in food and beverage items.
  • Develop and maintain waste reduction practices aligned with business demand fluctuations.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and secure workplace.
  • Track and report key performance indicators, inventory, and supply transfers accurately.
  • Collaborate with the Brand and Marketing team to grow a loyal customer base through effective strategies.
  • Monitor store performance metrics, optimize shift planning, motivate the team, and pinpoint improvement areas.
  • Foster team growth by developing baristas to potentially become future General Managers.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail management roles such as Shift Lead, Head Barista, Junior Manager, or F&B Manager; experience within the coffee industry is advantageous.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in dynamic startup environments.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, especially under pressure.
  • Demonstrated talent for identifying growth opportunities, experimenting with ideas, and delivering results within budget constraints.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
  • Fluency in both English and German languages.
