Store Manager - Hypermarket

Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of a hypermarket covering multiple departments including Grocery, Fresh Food, Non-Food items, Bakery, Butchery & Deli, Electronics, and Front End services. The role demands driving store sales, profitability, and overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities across various departments to ensure smooth functioning.
• Increase store revenue, margins, customer visits, and overall profit.
• Control inventory levels, ensure stock availability, and minimize losses due to shrinkage or wastage.
• Lead and motivate department supervisors and manage staff schedules and performance.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and efficiently resolve customer complaints.
• Manage loss prevention strategies, security protocols, cash handling, and uphold store standards.
• Collaborate effectively with HR, Procurement, Logistics, Marketing, and Finance departments.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience managing a store in a hypermarket or supermarket setting.
• Preference for candidates who can speak Malayalam.
• Comprehensive understanding of hypermarket operations including sales, inventory management, and team leadership.
• Excellent leadership, communication skills, and aptitude for solving operational problems.
