Store Keeper

About the Role

We are seeking a Store Keeper to efficiently manage the inventory and store operations at our Kolar location. This is a contract position for 6 months offering a monthly salary between ₹13,000 and ₹15,000. Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store and inventory management tasks.
• Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials accurately.
• Distribute materials to departments or site according to approved demands.
• Maintain detailed stock records and inventory registers for accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify concerned personnel in case of shortages.
• Ensure proper storage, arrangement, and safe identification of materials.
• Prepare and manage Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material issue and receipt documentation, and stock reports.
• Regularly perform physical stock verifications and reconcile with system data.
• Coordinate with purchase, accounts, site teams, and suppliers as needed.
• Keep the store clean and well-organized.
• Adhere strictly to company policies for material handling and inventory control.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Sound understanding of Inventory Management principles.
• Basic proficiency with Store Management Systems or Inventory Software.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping capabilities.
• Elementary computer skills, including MS Excel.
• Ability to keep precise and accurate stock records.
• Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with various teams.

Language and Educational Requirements

Fluency in Hindi, Telugu, and English is necessary. Candidates should have completed a minimum of 12th grade or possess a diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in store or inventory management will be advantageous.

Additional Information

This position is offered on a contractual basis for six months.
