Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers to provide exceptional service throughout their visit.
• Assist shoppers in finding products, and respond to questions about merchandise, promotions, and store policies.
• Ensure shelves are well-stocked, merchandise is attractively arranged, and price tags are accurate.
• Monitor quality and freshness, especially of perishable goods, to maintain high standards.
• Support billing operations and handle cash transactions at the checkout.
• Unload deliveries and organize incoming stock efficiently.
• Conduct inventory replenishment and carry out stock counts as needed.
• Keep the store clean, hygienic, and maintain appealing visual merchandising standards.
• Contribute to meeting sales targets and operational goals of the store.
• Address customer complaints and refer complex issues to the Store Manager.
• Adhere to company guidelines, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum educational qualification of 10th or 12th grade pass, or graduation.
• Prior experience in retail, supermarkets, or customer service is preferred but freshers with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of billing systems and point-of-sale (POS) machines is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to work efficiently in a dynamic retail environment.
• Numerical competency and cash handling proficiency.
• Team-oriented mindset and positive work attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills.
• Availability to work in rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
