Role Overview
The Store Assistant role is a full-time position based physically at the Gurugram site. Key responsibilities include supporting daily store functions such as receiving merchandise, organizing and distributing inventory, and maintaining precise stock records. The assistant ensures proper labeling and storage of goods, aids both customers and internal teams by providing product details, and collaborates with sales and service departments to help fulfill orders. Additional duties involve sustaining a clean and safe store environment, monitoring inventory levels, creating basic reports, and adhering to company protocols regarding documentation and compliance. This role requires effective collaboration with team members and supervisors to meet operational and service objectives.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Effective communication skills for clear and professional interaction with customers, peers, and management.
- Competency in customer service and retail sales to manage inquiries, assist in product choice, and enhance the customer experience.
- Strong organizational abilities to oversee inventory, maintain tidy storage spaces, and accurately update records.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn store procedures and assist with training new staff as necessary.
- Basic proficiency with computers for inventory software, data entry, and simple report generation.
- Meticulous attention to detail and dependability in managing stock, documentation, and billing or cash handling tasks.
- Physical endurance for prolonged standing and performing routine physical tasks within the store environment.
- Previous experience in retail, warehouse, or store operations is advantageous; possessing a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
