Stock Unloader Associate

Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate offers a valuable opportunity to develop experience in the retail sector. This role involves assisting with unloading shipments, organizing merchandise, moving pallets to the sales floor, maintaining safety standards, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and restore the Receiving Area for merchandise processing.
• Unload and sort items from general merchandise trailers efficiently.
• Carry out live unloading for any remaining merchandise.
• Ensure appropriate handling of refrigerated and frozen goods to maintain their cold chain during receiving and stocking.
• Transport pallets of products to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Help stock the sales floor as directed and assist customers when required.
• Label and organize overstock items properly.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies and procedures, including performing safety sweeps and securing displays and fixtures.

Compensation

This position starts at a minimum hourly wage of $17.75.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 years.
