About the Role

Elders Blackall is seeking a passionate Stock Agent to join the team in Queensland’s prime cattle country. This role involves driving sales and supporting livestock producers within the region, leveraging the well-established Blackall Saleyards—one of Western Queensland’s major livestock selling centres with over 130,000 cattle passing through annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Representing Elders at the Blackall Saleyards and various regional sales events.
• Developing and nurturing relationships with existing and new livestock clients.
• Offering trusted guidance to producers to help achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Actively seeking growth opportunities and expanding business within the designated territory.
• Maintaining a visible and trusted presence within the rural community.

Candidate Profile

• A genuine enthusiasm for the livestock sector and rural communities.
• Strong motivation toward sales success.
• Proactive attitude towards forging and sustaining client connections.
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with regional cattle markets is advantageous.
