Job Overview

The Steward I plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency in the kitchen and banquet areas. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, washing dishes and kitchenware, and supporting front of house and culinary staff with essential service equipment during meal periods and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Supply front of house teams with required service tools and ensure their cleanliness and quality standards.
• Assist culinary staff by maintaining dishware supply for meal services.
• Support banquet teams by providing necessary equipment and food transport before and during events.
• Maintain and safely operate Stewarding department equipment.
• Report any damaged or malfunctioning machinery to the Steward Supervisor.
• Ensure workspaces remain clean, organized, and dry at all times.

Candidate Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Self-driven and energetic with professional appearance standards.
• Multilingual abilities, especially proficiency in Tagalog or Ilocano, are advantageous.
• Fulfillment of State and Federal work requirements in Stewarding, including Tuberculosis clearance.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation and Additional Information

• Hourly wage set at $27.81 USD.
• Applicants must have lawful authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided.
