Position Overview

The role of a Utility Cleaner is essential in supporting various critical hotel operations. These associates may serve in multiple departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry to meet cleaning requirements. Core duties include preparing fresh, clean linens and spotless dining ware for guest use, operating and maintaining cleaning machines and equipment like dish washing machines, hand wash stations, and linen washers and dryers, as well as transporting dishware and linens throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe working environment consistent with company policies and quality standards.
• Maintain professional uniform, appearance, and communication at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to achieve shared objectives.
• Address and respond appropriately to concerns raised by fellow employees.
• Report workplace accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions promptly to management.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or placing objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Maintain flexibility to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform movements including bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching overhead or below the knees.
• Fulfill any reasonable duties assigned by supervisors to support hotel operations.

Qualifications

• No requirement for a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No previous related work or supervisory experience necessary.
• No licenses or certifications mandated.

This role is based at the hotel located at Al Corniche Street, Doha, Qatar. It features full-time scheduling and requires onsite presence.
