Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and progressively enhance AWS infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ensuring a secure, resilient, and cost-effective platform.
• Lead the automation efforts by optimizing CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes utilizing tools such as GitLab CI and Terraform, facilitating dependable and secure production deliveries.
• Assume full responsibility for key Kubernetes platform components including scaling mechanisms, secrets management, and foundational networking configurations like VPC and ingress.
• Develop and uphold end-to-end observability frameworks using monitoring, alerting, and logging tools such as Datadog, Opensearch, and fluentd to ensure seamless, 24/7 platform uptime.
• Collaborate autonomously as a trusted advisor to internal engineering teams, fostering operational excellence throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of five years working as a Platform or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud services and infrastructure automation through Infrastructure as Code techniques.
• Experienced with containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools, including GitLab CI, and advanced knowledge of Terraform.
• Capability in Go programming language at a beginner to intermediate competency level.
• Strong interpersonal skills emphasizing collaboration with agile teams and internal stakeholders.
