Role Overview

We seek a Staff Software Engineer proficient in AI technologies and software engineering fundamentals to lead the end-to-end development of AI Co-Workers. This position demands hands-on expertise with contemporary AI frameworks and the ability to deliver real production systems rather than research prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement AI Co-Workers from inception to deployment
• Convert business requirements into scalable AI and software engineering solutions
• Oversee system architecture, including models, orchestration logic, APIs, data pipelines, and integrations
• Steer technical choices for LLM application, model selection, prompt engineering, evaluation, and system monitoring
• Lead and mentor AI Engineers through development cycles
• Collaborate with Engagement Leads to ensure technical and business alignment
• Maintain engineering standards concerning performance, reliability, security, and maintainability
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks in uncertain environments
• Contribute hands-on to pivotal development areas while enabling team agility

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated leadership managing small to medium teams delivering product deployments
• Robust software engineering skills combined with practical AI or ML application experience
• Direct experience with modern AI technologies such as Large Language Models, learning algorithms, or intelligent automation
• Deep understanding of backend systems, APIs, data flows, and production-grade architectures
• Capability to evaluate trade-offs involving accuracy, latency, cost, scalability, and delivery speed
• Experience mentoring engineers through sophisticated development efforts
• Aptitude for communicating complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences
• Strong ownership mentality, eagerness to learn, and a focus on deploying operational systems
• Curiosity about AI system behavior in live production environments beyond theoretical knowledge
