Role Summary

The Middle Exchange Platform team at OKX shoulders the development and maintenance of core exchange components, including the matching engine, real-time market data delivery, and analytics modules. This team’s work is critical to powering OKX's leading trading platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and low-latency systems critical to the exchange platform.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate system issues, including low-level debugging potentially involving assembly language.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting tools to maintain system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement new features and improve existing system components.

Candidate Profile

• Strong command of Java or C++, including object-oriented programming, concurrency models, and system-level programming concepts.
• Demonstrated experience in building and tuning high-throughput, low-latency systems with attention to memory management and concurrency optimization.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with proficiency in using profiling, debugging, and log analysis tools, including the ability to debug at the assembly level.
• Solid educational foundation in STEM disciplines, with deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, system architecture, and networking protocols.

Desirable Attributes

• Experience working in large internet firms involving high-availability systems and managing peak traffic scenarios.
• Knowledge of low-latency, real-time, or high-frequency trading systems.
• Familiarity with message-oriented middleware and asynchronous programming techniques.
