Staff Product Manager

About the Role

Join Loopio as a Staff Product Manager to lead a critical initiative focused on creating a headless experience for Loopio's platform. This role entails making the platform interoperable with various enterprise AI systems through external AI assistants and agent frameworks rather than confining it to Loopio's native interface. It offers end-to-end ownership over key projects, from early concept stages to achieving product-market fit and scaled adoption, operating with considerable autonomy alongside an established, high-usage product.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and own a clear product vision aligned with company goals and market opportunities, crafting a roadmap that transitions from validation phases to widespread adoption.
• Define success metrics for each development phase and ensure team accountability.
• Create broad alignment and enthusiasm internally and externally to drive the interoperable future of the product.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to maintain a unified, focused effort.
• Lead discovery activities to validate problems, solutions, and willingness-to-pay prior to heavy investment.
• Ship early prototypes, gather real-world feedback, and iterate rapidly.
• Manage challenges around exposing Loopio's knowledge externally while balancing openness with security, trust, and platform governance.
• Drive post-launch adoption, fully owning customer and business outcomes.
• Develop expert insights into what makes servers, APIs, connectors, and integrations excellent for developers and partners and make informed product decisions accordingly.
• Collaborate closely on technical architecture topics including API design, MCP server features, authorization, and data contracts.
• Ensure interoperability and trustworthiness in how knowledge is shared with external AI assistants and agents without jeopardizing security or control.
• Deeply understand enterprise customer workflows and the needs of technical stakeholders integrating Loopio into their ecosystems.
• Conduct direct customer and prospect discovery to validate challenges and success criteria.
• Monitor competitive market trends for headless, API-first, and interoperable agent platforms.
• Operate independently by identifying gaps and rallying appropriate resources proactively.
• Communicate vision, progress, and metrics effectively to executives, stakeholders, and customers.
• Serve as a thought leader advocating for exceptional integration and interoperability experiences internally.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven success designing and launching MCP servers, APIs, and integrations connecting systems, preferably with hands-on experience shipping enterprise B2B SaaS integrations or connectors.
• A preference for demonstrable outcomes over a fixed number of years; professionals across different experience levels are encouraged.
• Bonus: experience bringing new products from conception to launch and adoption, or expertise in enterprise workflows, sales technology, security questionnaires, or proposal automation.
• Additional plus: startup, founder experience, or a technical/engineering background.
• Firm working knowledge of API design principles, MCP server architecture, authentication, data contracts, versioning, and related trade-offs regarding developer experience, security, and backwards compatibility.
• Understanding of large language models (LLMs) and agent frameworks to appreciate how Loopio's knowledge integrates within AI assistants and agents.
• Comfortable engaging with technical details to partner credibly with engineering teams without hands-on coding.
• Skillful with AI tools for research, prototype development, specification creation, and other product management tasks.
• Strong product sensibility, understanding what developers, partners, and enterprise customers value, and delivering capabilities that balance security and user experience.
• Excellent instincts in product discovery, prioritization, and execution in ambiguous, early-stage environments.
• Metrics-driven mindset defining success criteria upfront and measuring results afterward.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to guide teams toward novel and sometimes unproven directions.
• Self-motivated with initiative and entrepreneurial enthusiasm for building innovative solutions.
• Results-focused with a bias towards shipping products early and learning quickly rather than prolonged planning.

Work Environment

• Loopio embraces a remote-first work culture, with headquarters in Canada and regional hubs globally including the UK and India.
• Most employees reside and work remotely within 300 km of Toronto (Ontario) or Vancouver (British Columbia), with optional access to coworking spaces in downtown Toronto and central Vancouver.

Compensation

Salary range: CA$145,400 to CA$193,800 annually.
