Job Overview

This position involves comprehensive ward nursing duties at Dr Rao ENT Speciality International Hospital Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, focusing on patient care, treatment administration, surgical preparation, and hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Take over patient care from previous shifts and conduct ongoing evaluations of patient vitals and condition, maintaining accurate records.
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and manage cannulas and catheters per medical directives while monitoring for and reporting adverse drug reactions promptly.
• Ensure thorough pre-operative preparation and post-operative monitoring, including patient transfer coordination and adherence to dietary restrictions.
• Participate actively in medical rounds, maintain up-to-date patient documentation, and support smooth discharge processes by collaborating with medical staff and educating patients.
• Provide continuous patient monitoring for comfort, safety, oxygen therapy, and ICU care, including fall risk assessments and timely interventions.
• Coordinate admissions and patient transfers with other departments, handle emergencies, and escalate critical conditions to doctors as needed.
• Maintain hospital protocols including medication storage, oxygen supply checks, infection control, sample collection, and intra-hospital patient transport.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges between INR 18,000 and INR 23,000.
