About Analog Devices
Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADI) is a worldwide semiconductor leader that integrates analog, digital, AI, and software to enable innovation at the Intelligent Edge. The company works to address global challenges such as climate change and supports advancements in sectors like automation, robotics, healthcare, energy, and data centers. With revenues surpassing $11 billion in FY25, ADI strives to keep innovators ahead of the curve through cutting-edge technology.
ADI specializes in signal processing through its analog, mixed-signal, and digital signal processing integrated circuits (ICs), which convert real-world physical phenomena—such as light, sound, temperature, motion, and pressure—into electronic signals utilized by diverse electronic devices. The company values its employees as key assets who solve complex technical issues, delivering exceptional engineering expertise to customers.
At its Limerick location, ADI operates two advanced segregated 200mm cleanrooms for mixed-signal fabrication and novel material processing. The Backend Fabrication Engineering group seeks a Process Engineer who will be instrumental in supporting manufacturing by driving process control, qualifying equipment, facilitating continuous improvements, collaborating in new wafer-level capability development, and transferring processes from sister sites.

- Investigate and analyze root causes of yield problems, excursions, and equipment downtime; implement effective corrective measures to bolster process stability.
- Partner with development and cross-functional teams to define and advance new wafer-level capabilities aligned with the technology roadmap.
- Standardize equipment and process methodologies among shift personnel and engineering groups by coordinating with equipment shift supervisors.
- Regularly assess safety, quality, output, and cost efficiency metrics related to equipment and processes, initiating improvement projects as needed.
- Build specialized expertise on technology and equipment platform updates within the area of responsibility.
- Manage capital equipment acquisition, including specifying requirements, selecting tools, overseeing installation, and qualifying new or existing technologies.
- Ensure adherence to safe practices across all toolsets and manufacturing operations.
- Represent Analog Devices at various business and technical conferences, sharing knowledge and expertise.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics, Electronics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a closely related field.
- Hands-on engineering experience (3+ years) in semiconductor processing areas such as Etch, Lithography, Deposition, Epitaxial Growth, Wet Chemistry, Ion Implantation, or Diffusion.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to solve technical challenges and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across teams.
- Data-driven mindset with strong application of scientific and engineering principles.
- Self-motivated and able to operate independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
