Company Overview
RehabFC is a specialized clinic focused on sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation, particularly for football and sports-related injuries. Our center offers comprehensive services including injury assessment, rehabilitation, recovery, injury prevention, and performance enhancement to support athletes in returning to their sport safely and optimizing their performance. Additionally, we collaborate with football clubs and teams to provide sports medical assistance, match coverage, and practical experience opportunities for aspiring sports trainers and physiotherapists in a football setting.
Role Summary
We seek motivated Sports Trainers or aspiring sports healthcare professionals to deliver match-day support at youth football events. This position offers excellent practical exposure to pitch-side injury management within an authentic football environment, ideal for those eager to enter sports and football healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pitch-side first aid and manage minor sports injuries during youth football matches.
- Perform assessments and provide proper care for common football injuries.
- Assist with taping, basic wound care, and immediate injury interventions.
- Continuously observe player welfare and safety during matches.
- Escalate cases needing advanced medical evaluation appropriately.
- Maintain professional communication with coaches, team staff, and players.
- Ensure all necessary basic medical tools and supplies are prepared and available during matches.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
- Possession of a personal medical kit containing essential items such as rigid/sports tape, scissors, cold/heat sprays, wound care materials, and other fundamental first-aid supplies.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Certification as a Sports Trainer.
- Previous participation in football or sports match medical coverage.
- Experience with taping and basic injury evaluation and treatment.
- Educational background in physiotherapy, sports science, exercise science, or related disciplines.
