Role Overview

We are seeking a committed and skilled Speech Pathologist to join a dynamic, busy clinic located in Sydney. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and managing communication and swallowing disorders across all age groups. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients, their families, and a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive therapy services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed assessments of clients' speech, language, and swallowing functions.
  • Create tailored treatment plans aligning with individual client needs and objectives.
  • Deliver therapy sessions aimed at enhancing clients' communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Work in coordination with multidisciplinary team members to provide well-rounded client care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation regarding client progress and therapy records.
  • Offer informative support and education to clients and their families.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a relevant degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Hold current registration with the Speech Pathology Association applicable to your country.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessing and treating communication and swallowing impairments.
  • Strong communication acumen and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and effective time management skills.
  • A genuine motivation to positively impact clients' lives.
  • Willingness to commit to full-time employment or flexible contracting arrangements.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary ranging between $77,000 and $125,000, plus superannuation, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
