Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Payment Partnerships Specialist to join our team in Singapore to help bolster our expansion in the Americas. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vital relationships with card networks including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, in addition to other payment providers supporting our global payment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with card networks and payment providers to create and implement payment solutions for merchants.
  • Serve as the central contact point for daily operational activities related to assigned partnerships, both internally and externally.
  • Maintain adherence to existing processes and ensure all deliverables from both parties are met; monitor performance metrics and develop new scalable processes to enhance partnership growth, operational efficiency, and performance.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to monitor partnership outcomes, detect trends, and facilitate data-driven decisions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Sales, across all organizational levels on both partner and internal sides.
  • Navigate complex and unclear situations to produce clear, actionable solutions.
  • Act as the subject expert on partner products and operations for internal teams.
  • Develop and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations to drive Checkout.com’s strategic goals and advocate for merchant needs.
  • Identify, cultivate, and implement new partnership initiatives leveraging existing partner relationships.

Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience managing payment products, operations, or partnerships.
  • Working experience with card networks and a strong understanding of payment systems and transaction flows is highly preferred.
  • Highly organized, proactive, analytical, strategic thinker capable of solving problems and identifying opportunities to foster growth and efficiency.
  • Skilled in using data analysis and presentation tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and Google Slides, with comfort handling large datasets.
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills, able to influence stakeholders at various levels internally and externally.
  • Strong ownership mentality focused on partnership management to achieve business results.
  • Adept at working across different time zones and cultural environments in a globally distributed team.
