Job Overview
The Specialist Radiologist will deliver comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services, specializing in women’s health with emphasis on gynecological and obstetric imaging. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to provide superior patient care, mentoring junior personnel, and contributing to ongoing departmental improvements and research efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient histories and examinations to offer compassionate and efficient care.
- Utilize advanced imaging technologies to investigate, assess, and diagnose conditions, concentrating on women’s imaging.
- Execute and interpret imaging related to gynecology, obstetrics, and general radiology.
- Ensure compliance with the medical bylaws, policies, and procedures of Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman.
- Assist the Head of Department in maintaining sufficient medical coverage within the department.
- Participate actively in teaching activities, mentoring junior staff, and conducting departmental audits.
- Engage in performance enhancement, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research projects.
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
- Academic Credentials: MBBS degree alongside a Master’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Radiology.
- Licensing: Possess a valid UAE medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in Radiology, with demonstrated expertise specifically in gynecological imaging.
- Technical Competency: Knowledge of advanced imaging techniques and adherence to international radiology standards.
- Professional Skills: Strong diagnostic and analytical abilities combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
