Job Overview
This role entails providing essential technical assistance to the chartering team, ensuring all chartering procedures and formalities are thoroughly completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support chartering operations for vessel chartering inbound and outbound, offering both administrative and technical assistance.
- Prepare necessary documentation to ensure ship utilization complies with established standards and requirements.
- Provide technical and administrative support during charter negotiation phases to secure commercially advantageous terms that meet all requirements.
- Compile reports and systematically document relevant market data, guaranteeing timely and professional availability of information.
- Maintain databases and contact lists for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating efficient communication and smooth chartering activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a university degree in a commercial field or an equivalent qualification.
- Accumulate 5 to 10 years of pertinent experience within the energy sector, preferably working with international oil companies, owners, operators, or cargo traders.
Professional Certifications
- Membership or certification from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers is preferred.
