Role Overview

The selected clinician will operate in a collaborative multispecialty clinical setting, supported by seasoned consultants, nurses, allied health staff, and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert anaesthesia care for elective and emergency surgeries across various specialties.
• Perform pre-anaesthetic evaluations, including risk assessment and perioperative patient optimization.
• Administer general, regional, neuraxial, and monitored anaesthesia according to institutional protocols.
• Manage airway emergencies, postoperative recovery, acute pain conditions, and perioperative complications effectively.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, intensivists, nursing staff, and operating theatre teams to maintain patient safety and quality of care.
• Engage in clinical governance activities including morbidity reviews and continuous quality enhancement in theatre services.

Requirements

Applications are invited from internationally qualified Specialist Anaesthesiologists possessing credentials such as the American Board of Anesthesiology, UK CCT/FRCA, European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Canadian Royal College Certification, Australian FANZCA, Arab Board, or recognized specialist qualifications like MD, DNB, or FCPS.
