About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Spa Therapist to join Madhubhan Resort & Spa located in Anand. The ideal candidate will provide professional and safe spa and wellness treatments, ensuring guests enjoy a relaxing and high-quality experience. Maintaining top-notch hygiene, grooming, guest privacy, and service excellence are paramount to this position.

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver various spa treatments such as body massages, therapies, and scrubs following the spa menu and standard operating procedures.
• Warmly welcome guests, assess their treatment preferences, and conduct thorough pre-treatment consultations to identify any health concerns or contraindications.
• Clearly explain treatment steps to guests and monitor their comfort during treatments.
• Adhere to prescribed duration, sequencing, and quality standards for all treatments.
• Provide recommendations for wellness services without making medical claims, ensuring guest satisfaction through professional handling of queries and concerns.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all products, linens, and equipment are ready prior to appointments.
• Maintain stringent cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in spa areas, including changing linens and sanitizing equipment after each treatment.
• Follow proper personal hygiene and grooming standards, and ensure correct storage and usage of all treatment products.
• Uphold professional boundaries and guest dignity, practicing appropriate draping techniques and immediately reporting any adverse incidents to management.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and comply with all resort policies on safety, hygiene, and conduct.
• Keep detailed records of treatments performed and guest preferences, coordinate appointment schedules with the reception team, and monitor inventory needs.
• Support spa promotional activities and contribute to departmental trainings and skill development.

Requirements and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of massage and spa therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with basic human anatomy and physiology.
• Awareness of treatment contraindications and hygiene protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to maintain guest privacy and professional boundaries consistently.
• Physical endurance to carry out treatments effectively.
• Capability to function well within team settings and adapt to rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Additional Information

The therapist will also be expected to perform additional duties assigned by the Spa Manager to ensure smooth operation of the spa and resort services.
