Role Overview

The role of Spa Therapist is a full-time, on-location position based in Paphos, Cyprus. The professional will be responsible for delivering a spectrum of spa treatments including facials, body therapies, and basic beauty procedures, all adhering to strict standards and protocols. Day-to-day duties involve greeting clients, assessing their needs, advising on appropriate treatments, and maintaining a relaxing, hygienic spa environment. The Spa Therapist will also manage treatment rooms and equipment, handle appointment bookings, and actively promote spa packages. Collaboration with the spa team is essential to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience and support overall spa operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Solid grounding in cosmetology with hands-on experience applying cosmetology principles in spa or wellness contexts.
• Skilled in various spa treatments, including facials and skin care, with strict attention to safety and hygiene standards.
• Competent in performing pedicures and basic nail and foot care treatments within professional settings.
• Strong customer service capability, effective communication skills, aptitude for gaining client trust, and professionalism in managing client feedback.
• Possession of a relevant certification or diploma in cosmetology, aesthetics, or spa therapy; additional specialized spa treatment training is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, ability to stand for prolonged periods, and adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Prior work experience in spas, hotels, or wellness centers preferred; familiarity with hospitality environments in Cyprus or comparable markets advantageous.
• Basic proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages commonly spoken by guests in Paphos is a plus.
