Role Overview
Based in Harare, the Spa & Salon Coordinator will handle on-site, full-time front desk responsibilities, ensuring seamless client interactions. Primary tasks include greeting clients, managing incoming phone calls and inquiries, and overseeing appointment scheduling and updates within the booking system. The Coordinator will support salon and spa staff by efficiently directing client flow, keeping precise records, and conveying information about services and promotions. Additional duties encompass processing payments, supervising reception and waiting areas, and assisting with basic administrative duties to promote smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills for professional interaction with clients and team members.
- Competence in phone etiquette and receptionist tasks such as managing calls, messages, and client questions.
- Experience with booking and appointment management systems tailored to spa or salon environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and maintain meticulous attention to detail in a busy front desk role.
- Foundational computer knowledge and familiarity with point-of-sale or scheduling software like Fresha.
- Dependable and punctual with willingness to work full-time on location in Harare.
- Previous experience in spa, salon, hospitality, or other customer service roles is advantageous.
- Additional certifications or training in beauty therapy, hospitality, or office administration is a plus but not mandatory.
