About the Role
We are inviting applications for an Ultrasound Sonographer to join a welcoming and cooperative team based in Fraser Cove, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. Opportunities are available both full-time and part-time, accommodating various lifestyle needs. The role involves conducting a diverse range of ultrasound examinations within a modern, well-equipped clinical environment, upholding excellent standards of patient care and clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of ultrasound assessments accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure a high standard of patient interaction and communication.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other clinical personnel.
- Maintain imaging quality and adhere to professional and clinical standards.
Skills and Experience
- Registration with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB).
- Possession of a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
- Strong proficiency in general ultrasound imaging techniques.
- Experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) and/or obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
