About Imaging Associates

Imaging Associates is a doctor-led and rapidly expanding radiology provider offering advanced diagnostic imaging across Melbourne, Gippsland, and Wagga Wagga. Committed to clinical excellence and outstanding patient care, their Narre Warren location features modern facilities dedicated to delivering comprehensive imaging services including MRI, CT, Calcium Score Testing, Ultrasound, X-ray, and Interventional Procedures with bulk billing for eligible scans.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Sonographer to join our Narre Warren clinic. This position involves performing a diverse range of ultrasound examinations such as general abdominal, gynecologic, small parts, and vascular scans. You will manage a reasonable multidisciplinary caseload with a strong emphasis on delivering quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform varied ultrasound procedures including abdominal, gynecologic, musculoskeletal, and vascular imaging.
  • Manage caseload effectively, ensuring high standards of imaging quality and patient welfare.
  • Work independently or collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images adhering to clinical protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Current ASAR accreditation is mandatory.
  • Completion of an ASAR accredited course such as a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Sonography.
  • Previous clinical experience conducting a broad range of ultrasound examinations is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Australian full work rights (Permanent Resident, Citizen, or New Zealand Citizen).
