Qualifications and Experience

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Medical Sonography is required.
• Registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) is mandatory.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with ultrasound equipment, methodologies, and clinical protocols.
• Dedication to maintaining high standards for patient care and safety.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Contribute to the daily imaging activities as a collaborative team member.
• Deliver timely, efficient, and patient-focused ultrasound services.
• Maintain the quality and service standards established by the organization.
• Participate in change management initiatives under guidance from the Line Manager.
• Follow strict safety procedures to ensure patient well-being.
• Utilize RIS/PACS systems for workflow support and documentation purposes.
• Perform ultrasound examinations and assist Radiologists during procedures.
• Adhere closely to ultrasound policies and evidence-based practice guidelines.
