Role Overview
The Solutions Consultant serves as a trusted technical advisor collaborating closely with sales teams to showcase solutions, oversee technical assessments, and align software offerings perfectly with client requirements. You will bridge gaps between sales and engineering teams by expert understanding and demonstration of our software products. This customer-centric position demands strong consultative abilities to convert business needs into effective solutions, mainly focusing on our best-in-class permit-to-work, planning, scheduling, and Shutdown Turnaround & Outage (STO) software platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations through virtual sessions, on-site visits, webinars, and industry conferences.
- Navigate prospects through the functionalities of Prometheus offerings, linking features to tangible business benefits.
- Provide business process and workflow expertise to show improvements in operational safety and efficiency.
- Handle technical components of the sales cycle such as responding to RFPs, RFIs, and preparing scopes of work.
- Lead and assist customer trials and proof of concepts including solution consulting, configuration, and user training.
- Develop functional and technical documentation of solutions prior to transferring ownership to support teams.
- Act as the technical authority alongside sales and internal teams during the sales journey.
- Engage with clients post-sale to support successful implementation and ensure measurable outcomes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering disciplines such as Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or allied field.
- Experience or knowledge of ERP systems like SAP PM, IBM Maximo, JD Edwards, or Oracle Primavera is advantageous.
- Solid grasp of maintenance operations, plant workflows, and safety protocols.
- Understanding of why routine and shutdown/turnaround maintenance is essential for operations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills capable of simplifying complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude towards leading the technical phases within sales processes.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a driven approach in preparation and delivery.
