Solutions Architect

Job Overview

As a Solutions Architect, you will take charge of the architecture and comprehensive design of cloud-native applications. Embedded in an agile team, you will contribute to the creation of products and solutions that cater to the financial services and regulatory sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business teams and product owners to establish solution architecture and design plans.
• Oversee implementation phases to ensure they align with the defined solutions and architectural designs.
• Provide technical mentorship to development teams, aiding engineers in resolving complex issues and performing code reviews.
• Enhance software quality by integrating cloud-native methodologies and Agile development practices, such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Support Quality Assurance teams in test automation and proactively identify technological risks and challenges.
• Partner with fellow architects to design reusable components and standardized technical libraries.
• Coordinate efforts with technical stakeholders including Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, Applications, and Security teams to set up infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, facilitate application integrations, and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Engage in experimental work with emerging technologies and develop prototypes for exploratory projects.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least seven years of pertinent experience spanning application development, solution architecture, and business analysis.
• Expert understanding of solution architectures and integration design patterns.
• Demonstrated ability to architect and build large-scale applications addressing intricate business challenges.
• Skilled in technologies including .NET, Java, React.js, Node.js, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Familiar with multi-paradigm programming languages.
• Experienced in Agile/Scrum software development lifecycles.
• Knowledgeable in OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect protocols.
• Hands-on experience with containerization, microservices architectures, and DevSecOps tooling.
• Acquainted with cloud-native toolsets and environments.
• Proven track record designing applications on AWS cloud platforms; relevant AWS certifications are advantageous.
• Solid grasp of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), service management, security, and compliance processes including change management, incident management, and problem management within cloud settings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen, adept at handling multiple priorities and delivering timely outcomes.
• Creative problem solver with ability to address intricate technical challenges.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and collaborative, exhibiting strong interpersonal and organizational competencies.
