Solutions Architect

About the Role

We are searching for a seasoned, technology-savvy, and customer-focused Solutions Architect to join our team in Singapore. This position entails leading the design and development of technological solutions from inception through deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with the established enterprise architecture framework.

Core Responsibilities

• Govern and strategize enterprise architecture by aligning IT landscapes with defined architectural principles and standards within the organization.
• Contribute to the formulation and execution of the organization's IT strategy.
• Participate actively in architecture reviews for newly introduced or modified systems.
• Investigate and assess modern technologies and solutions to advance the organization’s digital transformation efforts.
• Lead initiatives like the Business Services Platform across multiple business units.
• Support proof-of-value projects matching business and IT requirements.
• Provide technical leadership in solution design and application development during project execution.
• Conduct technical design assessments, ensuring adherence to enterprise-wide architectural standards.
• Liaise with stakeholders including project teams and business units to confirm architectural solutions meet functional and non-functional needs.
• Build strong collaborations across departments including customer-facing units and operations to facilitate successful implementation of solutions.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Application Development, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in IT architecture, solution design, and software development.
• Proven track record designing and delivering large-scale enterprise solutions within complex, multi-domain settings.
• Experience as a Solutions Architect in integrated resorts or equally intricate organizations is advantageous.

Technical Expertise

• In-depth experience with architecture and design patterns including modular design, event-driven architecture, microservices, and API-led integrations.
• Proficiency with development platforms and tools such as Java, .NET Core, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in designing integration solutions spanning on-premises and cloud deployments.
• Comprehensive understanding of application, integration, data, cloud, security, and infrastructure architecture relationships.
• Experience with project delivery frameworks like Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and SAFe.
• Capability to evaluate technologies, develop architectural recommendations, and balance business priorities with technical goals.
