Overview
Hey Rocket is looking for a seasoned Solutions Architect to join their team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience designing and delivering large-scale data platforms, lakehouses, and analytics solutions, particularly within government cloud settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise data platforms, lakehouses, and data warehouse solutions tailored for government cloud environments.
- Develop proof of concepts, prototypes, and conduct technical validation autonomously.
- Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into feasible technical solutions.
- Apply data governance principles including metadata management, data lineage, quality controls, and access frameworks.
- Utilize expertise in data ingestion, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, data modeling, and continuous integration/deployment methodologies.
Essential Skills and Experience
- At least 8 years of combined experience in Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture roles.
- Demonstrated ability in building enterprise data solutions such as lakehouses and warehouses.
- Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL, and Delta Lake technologies.
- Prior work experience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments.
- Excellent analytical skills paired with strong communication and technical documentation abilities.
- Capable of independently driving technical proofs and validations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Databricks certifications.
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Certifications such as DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or TOGAF.
- Experience incorporating AI or Generative AI platforms.
