About the Role

Euro Car Parks, a leading UK property and technology company specialising in innovative, technology-driven parking solutions, is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join their team in Marylebone, London. The role offers a competitive salary of £100,000 alongside bonus and career advancement opportunities. Established for over 50 years, Euro Car Parks manages more than 4000 sites across the UK and Ireland, serving numerous prominent clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality software architectures.
• Develop and communicate clear technical designs that guide solution development across a variety of products, services, systems, and technologies aligned with business objectives.
• Create and maintain architecture models and reference data within enterprise repositories during project activities.
• Deliver comprehensive solution architecture outputs, including current and future state architectures, standard definitions, reference models, and design patterns.
• Ensure all software delivery meets top-tier quality standards and agreed criteria.
• Advise product managers on product lifecycle decisions including maintenance, upgrades, or retirement of services and systems.
• Actively engage in team activities such as daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint reviews, story-mapping, and backlog refinement to enhance team performance.

Technical and Professional Requirements

• Proficiency in C# .NET Core, RESTful API design and development, and API management techniques.
• Experience with document-oriented or NoSQL database technologies, especially Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of messaging systems and microservices architectures, including Azure Service Bus and Azure Functions.
• Skilled in producing formal architecture documentation using methods like BPMN, UML, and wireframing.
• Familiarity with AI tools and frameworks such as Claude code, applied to designing and deploying AI-powered automation solutions.
• Competent in test-driven and behavior-driven development methods, including tools like TDD, BDD, and Gopher.
• Strong foundation in agile methodologies including SCRUM and SCRUMBAN, with practical experience using JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience working within data-focused organizations.

Additional Beneficial Skills

• Knowledge of React for front-end development and React Native for cross-platform mobile applications.
• Android development expertise using Java, Kotlin, and Dagger2.
• Skills in image processing technologies such as Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) implementations.
• Experience with process modeling techniques like BPMN.
• Understanding of Internet of Things (IoT) relay control systems and networking security measures including firewalls and network traffic management.
