Solution Architect

Role Purpose

The Solution Architect is charged with designing and managing comprehensive technical solutions for intricate business challenges, ensuring these solutions maintain technical viability from initial presales activities through to production deployment. The Senior Solution Architect role handles even higher complexity, ambiguity, and business impact issues, often involving multiple technology domains, complex system integrations, enterprise-scale deployments, or cross-team coordination. Both roles serve as Technical Outcome Owners rather than mere architecture advisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the entire solution architecture process starting from business requirements through to production deployment.
• Comprehend business goals and translate them into scalable, efficient technical solutions.
• Design architecture for applications, integrations, data management, cloud platforms, security, infrastructure, and AI, as needed.
• Assess various solution options and recommend the optimal approach.
• Develop technology strategies, architectural principles, design patterns, and standards.
• Ensure Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) such as performance, security, and scalability are fully addressed.
• Identify architectural constraints, assumptions, dependencies, and risks early on.
• Review and monitor architectural implementations during delivery phases.
• Adapt architectures as business needs and requirements evolve.
• Own the technical outcomes of complex projects, coordinating across multiple teams and technology areas.
• Manage technical delivery strategies and dependencies, ensuring readiness at critical milestones.
• Facilitate resolution of inter-team and cross-technology technical challenges.
• Communicate technical decisions timely and clearly, partnering with Project Managers to balance impacts on scope, schedule, and resources.
• Define and uphold technical quality standards covering security, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and operational preparedness.
• Implement quality gates and oversee major technical decisions and deviations.
• Address technical risks comprehensively with mitigation and contingency plans, escalating unresolved risks appropriately.
• Provide technical leadership and promote architecture and engineering best practices including technology modernization and excellence.
• Evaluate and integrate AI capabilities responsibly across solutions, ensuring adherence to security, privacy, and governance frameworks.
• Lead presales technical solutioning activities including discovery, requirements analysis, solution design, and client workshops, supporting the commercial team while maintaining solution integrity.

Experience and Qualifications

• For Solution Architect: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related disciplines with approximately 10 to 15 years of relevant technical experience including substantial solution architecture and delivery roles.
• For Senior Solution Architect: Around 13 to 18+ years of technical experience, handling complex enterprise-scale multi-domain solutions with proven presales and client engagement skills preferred.

Eligibility

Applicants must possess either a Bachelor of Computer Applications (B.C.A.) in any specialization or a Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) in any specialization.

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from INR 3,500,000 to INR 5,000,000.
