Candidate Profile

• Approximately 4 years of experience in solution architecture, domain architecture, or related architecture roles.
• Strong technical foundation, ideally supported by hands-on software development, enabling a bottom-up understanding.
• Expertise in integration architecture, application landscapes, and applying architectural patterns within complex environments, including cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience working with heterogeneous system landscapes such as product information management, logistics, pricing systems, or comparable enterprise applications.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills: clear communication, persuasive argumentation, composure, and structured approach during challenging projects.
• Familiarity with project-driven environments; experience in scaled agile frameworks is advantageous.
• Fluency in business-level English and conversational German, as German is the project and product language.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop the architecture of a complete domain, aligning it with business objectives, technology decisions, and priorities.
• Translate business requirements into clear, well-structured solution architectures in compliance with enterprise guidelines and principles.
• Support domain leads and stakeholders in aligning domain goals and vision with the architectural roadmap to promote scalable, sustainable, and resilient solutions.
• Lead architecture in strategic projects, defining and managing domain architecture to ensure seamless integration of new solutions into existing application landscapes and facilitating domain evolution.
• Actively ensure application of architectural and design patterns in project work, navigate heterogeneous system environments, maintaining clarity over integrations, interfaces, and technology choices.
• Share insights, lessons learned, and successes with peers to foster an open and collaborative architectural culture.

Compensation

Annual gross salary starting at €66,000 with willingness to offer higher pay based on experience and expertise.
